                                Tasting notes
Identical to the merlot-cabernet sauvignon-cabernet franc blend that makes up the 2013 Aleksander white label, but with over 3 years aging in tight-grained French and Serbian oak barrels, the 2013 Aleksander Reserve black label performs brilliantly with a silky presence on the palate and a grace and style rarely found in bold red wines from Paso Robles. The nose offers a sweet hint of jasmine while the flavors that dance around the palate include baked dark fruit, enticing herbs and oak barrel spices.
