A flurry of aromas make up the nose of the 2017 Aleksander Reserve. Dried plum is the prevailing note on this wine, with notable hints of vanilla, decrepit leather and cedar.
Beautiful notes of fresh plum, blackberries and dried dates greet the palate. As with the nose, lingering flavors of vanilla and leather cover the palate with a slight hint of bacon. The mouthfeel is bold yet restrained with beautiful acidity and silky tannins.
